Minibus Driver - Wishford Schools

Wishford Schools are looking for a Minibus Driver to join the team. The ideal candidate will need to be confident in interacting with children and be able to maintain a good atmosphere on the bus. Drivers will need to have a warm and flexible approach, be able to show initiative and work well on their own and as part of a team.

School Porter

Westonbirt Schools are seeking a School Porter to assists in keeping all school systems operating smoothly to allow the delivery of the timetable and school events within the campus. The role also supports the maintenance team to ensure the smooth and safe running of Westonbirt School.

This is a varied role and the post holder will have various interdepartmental roles throughout the school.

The position will be on full-time basis, 37.5 hours per week, 7.30 am to 3.30 pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes ‘own time’ lunch every weekday; however, flexibility will be required.

Salary: £8.80 per hour

Duty Manager

An exciting vacancy has arisen for a full-time Duty Manager within our busy leisure department at Westonbirt Schools.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with a minimum of 1-year experience in the Leisure industry, including supervisory experience.

  • RLSS National Pool lifeguard Qualification (or ability to achieve with 1 month)
  • Excellent customer care and service skills
  • Ability to use initiative and identify task priorities
  • Have a clear understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace, including COSHH
  • Understanding of cash handling & till reconciliation procedures
  • Recognise the importance of adherence to PSOP’s.
  • Ability to lead and motivate within a small team.
  • Flexible approach to shift working patterns.

37.5 hours per week, based 3-week rota which currently includes 1 weekend and an even mix of early and late shifts.

Salary £17,500 to £19,500 p.a. depending on experience

PE Teaching Assistant

A vacancy has become available for a PE Teaching Assistant to work under the specific supervision, instruction and guidance of the Director of Sport to support the teaching and learning activities in the classroom and outdoors.

The school grounds provide the perfect platform for sporting excellence with 210 acres of beautiful countryside incorporating a nine-hole golf course, lacrosse, hockey, football and rugby pitches as well as netball and tennis courts. Our aim is to inspire and challenge pupils to follow a broad, coherent, satisfying and worthwhile course of study whilst developing an awareness and appreciation of physical activity and how it can lead to a healthy and active lifestyle in the future.

The school's major competitive sports are lacrosse, rugby, netball, swimming, tennis, athletics and cricket. Fixtures are played throughout the academic year against other independent and local schools and many students compete at county, regional, national and international level

This is a full time, term time only role, 37.5 hours per week, days and hours to fit with the requirements of the business. Flexibility will be required.

Salary: £12,944 P.A
