Scholarships at Westonbirt recognise talent, achievement and future potential, with awards typically providing a 10% fee reduction and some larger named awards available. Scholars benefit from additional opportunities to develop their strengths, embrace new challenges and pursue excellence in their chosen area. They are encouraged to contribute to school life, lead by example and inspire those around them, making the most of every opportunity to thrive.
Bursaries typically range from 10% to 40% of day fees, with up to 100% considered only in exceptional circumstances. Awards are limited and not all eligible applicants will be successful. To enquire about a bursary please email us.
Westonbirt Schools offer means tested bursaries to families where a child would significantly benefit from a Westonbirt education and there is a genuine financial need. Applications are assessed by a panel including the Head and Finance Director. Bursaries are awarded to support families facing challenging circumstances, to enable deserving pupils to thrive, and to widen access to independent education. Bursaries are primarily for the senior school, with prep school awards considered only in exceptional cases.
