Westonbirt catering is provided by Palmer and Howells. All meals are sourced, planned and cooked by professional chefs, supported by qualified catering staff. All food is served buffet style, the Sixth Form girls eat in their own dedicated dining room and years 7 to 11 eat with staff in the upper dining rooms.

There is an excellent choice of well-balanced menus and special dietary requirements are easily accommodated. Drinks, biscuits and fruit are served for morning break and bread, butter, a variety of spreads, cake and fruit for afternoon tea. The head chef and catering manager host regular meetings with the girls and are keen to incorporate their suggestions.

Girls are also welcome to prepare drinks and snacks in their house kitchens in the evenings and buy snacks from the school Tuck Shop.

Typical Menu:

  • Soup and Salad bar: this is on offer daily with a selection of healthy salads and a Soup of the Day.
  • Main Menu: for example, pasta dishes, quinoa, rice dishes and baked potatoes served with either meat or a vegetarian option which is always available
  • Dessert: there are always a variety of desserts on offer including mousses, yoghurt, hot fruit based puddings and a fruit selection.
  • Any specific dietary requirements can be catered for on request
