Westonbirt's housekeeping team are delighted that they have been awarded a coveted Gold CAP Award for housekeeping. Having achieved their Silver award the previous year, the team have worked tirelessly to move on and achieve the gold award.
Ian Jackson from CAP says of the achievement:
“What a great journey for the Housekeeping team and Westonbirt Schools. It shows what can be achieved with all parties working together on an agreed goal i.e. improving the pupil experience through gaining their Gold CAP Award'.
Starting back in 2016 with the CAP Programme, the measured and purposeful progression has been evident to here and is a real inspiration in terms of leadership, ambition and achievement from within the Housekeeping team and from Westonbirt Schools.
“This was an impressive performance by Michelle and the Housekeeping team. With the wide variety of buildings spread over the beautiful grounds from the boarding accommodation to pre-prep and from the grand main House on to the Science block, the task of keeping them all clean is extremely challenging. The Department has worked hard and progressed step-by-step over the last few years. It is a great accolade to their hard work plus it has all been achieved with a smile!”
Housekeeping Team Manager Michelle Warren says ‘We are thrilled to have obtained the CAP gold service level award which reflects all the hard work the team put in throughout the school year across a large campus. Housekeeping in a busy boarding and prep school is a continual process to which the whole team has shown their dedication’.
Well done to all the team.
