This afternoon, Year 13 enjoyed the first session of a three-part programme with Jo Cruse of the ‘The Unreasonables’. An exciting organisation who provide Sixth Formers with no-nonsense, practical ways to embrace a leadership mindset, in school and in life.
The Unreasonables aim to create cultures of leadership across the UK's most ambitious schools through the delivery of inspirational programmes. From ‘All leaders are outgoing and charismatic’, to ‘Leaders never fail’, The Unreasonables demystify common misconceptions, and expose the truth that leadership is in fact accessible to us all.
The programme will reframe leadership assumptions, provide pupils with an entrepreneurial toolkit, as well as young entrepreneur guest speakers and methodology to coach and problem solve as a Sixth Form community.
Jo Cruse is Managing Director of The Unreasonables and is passionate about enabling young people to fulfil their full potential. She has a degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics and a professional background in education, communications and entrepreneurship.
She says of working with Westonbirt School;
“I am so excited to be working with Westonbirt. In so many ways the school embodies all the reasons I love working in education. It is an environment that celebrates the importance of tradition but also creates a space where young women can grow and thrive as individuals.”
