The diverse international community at Westonbirt educated the rest of the school on Saturday 25 February with a celebration of their individual cultures. Our two-thirds British pupils enjoyed presentations by pupils from at least eight different countries, including Russia, Nigeria, China, Germany, Spain, Japan, Mexico and the Netherlands.
Pupils were treated to a colourful display of rich culture from the international community at Westonbirt; including dance routines, striking costumes and music. At the end of the day a wonderful Food Court offered delicious fair from each nation.
Head of English Language Training Dept, Chris Lloyd, was very proud of the committee, lead by Russian and German students Elena and Emilia; “Our international students worked tirelessly to organise a fascinating day of cultural sharing at Westonbirt.”
